In accordance with the Act, our Brokers, Business Partners and Agencies have an obligation to ensure procedures are in place to capture and report on ‘eligible’ data breaches (i.e. any unauthorised access to, or unauthorised disclosure of personal information or loss of personal information likely to result in serious harm) to the Office of the Australian Information Commission (OIAC), within 30 days.

As we have a common interest to protect our customers and individuals whose data may have been breached, we are seeking your assistance to ensure that we are:

1. Notified of any suspected 'eligible' reportable data breaches within 2 business days, from the date you have become reasonably aware; and


2. Kept informed of any remediation plans and what steps have been taken to notify individuals whose personal information may have been breached.
